When should I begin Pregnancy Yoga? The yoga is safe for all trimesters, but most women like to wait until after their twelve week scan to be sure the pregnancy is well established. Yoga is a blessing to keep your body and mind feeling healthy, so is a wonderful thing to do throughout as much of your pregnancy as possible. It is important to practise the hypno-birthing techniques so you can easily draw upon them in labour, so it’s great to learn and begin practising as early in your pregnancy as possible. You can attend classes right up until birth!
Why is it a good idea to book early? Mama2shape classes are small, with limited places and there are often waiting lists. Once you are attending a class you will automatically be offered a place on the next course. So for example, it is a good idea to start early in your pregnancy to ensure you can enjoy Mama2shape Pregnancy Yoga throughout your pregnancy. Likewise, if you know you’d like to attend Baby & Mum Postnatal Yoga, book, or sign on to the waiting list early to guarantee your place once you are ready to start.
What if I reach my due date during the course? It may be possible for you to pay for the course up until your due date. This is at Kat’s discretion and depends on class numbers and how many classes until your reach your due date. If there is space, then after your due date, drop in at £10 per class may be possible.
What if my baby cries during the class? Please do not worry if your baby cries. Remember that every adult in the room is a parent too, and has very likely been in a similar situation. We all understand that babies can cry and be unsettled.
What if I need to feed or change my baby during the class? Please feel free to feed or change your baby during the class.
What if I cannot attend class – can I get a refund? We regret that refunds are not possible as places are limited and once you have booked and paid for a course, your place is reserved. Please see Terms of Booking for more info.
