New class alert!
Three ways to stretch and soothe those pesky restless legs and muscle twitches that come with pregnancy!
One of the worst pains in this pregnancy so far has been Sacro-iliac pain! Right where the spine meets the pelvis.
Got my rebozo scarf today! It’s beautiful! Last time I was in labour, I used all the hypnobirthing visualisations and pain relieving breathing techniques that I teach in the Mama2shape Prenatal Yoga Studio very successfully and the labour itself was very calm and peaceful! It was very hands-off though, and I remember when things started getting a bit tricky as my 10lb 1oz baby wasn’t descending well during pushing, the midwife gave me a little massage on my lower back and this was so comforting. This time around, I want my birth partner to be more hands on, and the rebozo technique is a great way to do this! The scarf can be used to massage and jiggle the baby bump, helping baby to get into a good position for birth, and the scarf can also be used to apply pressure to the labouring mama’s pelvis during contractions for comfort and pain relief. I shall be sharing rebozo scarf techniques as my birth partner and I learn them! Watch this space!
